An experienced pilot is assigned the single task of flying an old war buddy and his daughter to see her father before he dies. Weirder stuff quickly gets under way when their plane traverses the great icebound Alaskan wilderness. Suspicion escalates, however, as it becomes evident that somebody on board is hiding a secret. The pilot has to determine who can be trusted as tension mounts and options in the sky dwindle. The film targets betrayal, survival, and the trustworthiness under pressure of those who wear the clothes of heroes, transforming a routine flight into a hazardous trek in which no one is really safe.
